The Longboard T-Shirt has a relaxed fit with very gentle shaping. It’s suitable for all, but designed particularly for those who enjoy a little more length in their t-shirt. There are options for a regular length t-shirt with a straight hem, an extra length t-shirt with a straight hem, or an extra length t-shirt with a curved hem. Additionally, there are 3 sleeve options. There are instructions to guide you through lengthening/shortening to fit.
The Longboard T-Shirt pattern goes from XXS – 7XL.
Lighter weight knit fabrics (e.g. cotton/Lycra jersey) are perfect for the Longboard T-Shirt. It is a beginner-friendly pattern.
An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish, but all options can be made using a regular sewing machine.

Well, it even got the Mr approval – and that is so hard to achieve! The pattern has options for sleeve length and a curved dropped back which is great for my tall husband, I love how easy it is to extend the length further too. Super simple, easy to follow instructions with lots of pictures to support makes this a winner in our house!

Fit is fantastic! Tried other patterns with no luck and almost gave up on sewing a top for my hubby. Using the long board pattern I am now sewing my second one! I have made these as long sleeve, hubby is very tall and was easy to length sleeves as the ‘lengthen sleeve’ marking was included. Great pattern

My go to pattern for tshirts fir my hubby. He especially likes the long sleeve for tassie winters. I make with a 220gsm cotton Lycra and they last for years. You can’t buy men’s tshirts from the shops that have a good fit. Only way is to make your own!
