As of November 2025, The Waves and Wild Brand was acquired by the owners of Little Legs Fabrics, a well established UK business with a passion for high quality fabrics and all things Sewing.
Headed by director, Sarah Vaughan, and her small team, they are excited to bring Waves and Wild under their portfolio and leadership.
Waves and Wild was originally founded in 2012 by Sarah Gledson. Many of you will remember the early days as Made by Jack’s Mum, before the rebrand to Waves and Wild when Sarah moved from the UK to Australia in 2020. Over the years, the brand has grown into a much-loved name in the sewing community, and we’re so grateful for everything Sarah has built and we wish her all the best with her future endeavours.
It’s fine if you sell clothes made from our patterns. We don’t charge a license fee, however we do ask that you don’t share your purchased patterns including duplications for others unless they have purchased the file.
