A great ‘freebie’ pattern. I’ve used it to make a cuff add on and as fingerless mitts for gifts.
The instructions are bewildering at first glance and ifeels all ‘wrong’. However, if you follow them correctly, the cuff/mitts emerge from what initially feels like a complete muddle!
The pattern is free, so give it a go. It’s brilliant…

I have used the Thumbs Up pattern to make arm protectors for my nephew who has very bad eczema and broken skin on his arms. He loves wearing them – thank you for a great pattern!

These are magic, I’m still surprised every time I make them. My son loves these on his tops, also great as fingerless gloves

These are so much fun to sew, they turn out like magic. Plus, they ramp up the cozy factor of any pattern by 100! I’ll be making these again and again.
