Description
The Sunset Shirt is a traditional style, unisex, button shirt. Choose between long and short sleeves and between a regular or Grandad collar. There is an optional pocket. Additionally, it can have a regular hem or snap crotch (up to age 4). Finally, you can use regular seams or smart, flat felled seams.
Light/medium weight woven fabrics such as poplin, chambray or quilting cotton are perfect for the Sunset Shirt.
The Sunset Shirt goes from 0-3m up to age 12. It is an intermediate level pattern but there are options suitable for advanced beginners looking to expand their skills.
An overlocker/serger can be used for many steps but importantly a sewing machine is all you need for all options.
This listing is for 4 downloadable PDF files: Instructions, a print-at-home pattern, a copy shop pattern and a projector pattern.
Print the print-at-home pattern on A4/legal/letter sized paper.
Take the copy shop file to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper.
