Description

The Speedy Pants pattern has two styles of unisex child underwear – boxers and briefs.

An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish but importantly, a sewing machine is all you need for all options.

Both styles of Speedy Pants are modest and comfortable undies for children or all ages, and both are very quick to make (hence the name). They are beginner friendly and require 4 way stretch jersey. They are perfect for using up scraps and offcuts from larger projects. An overlocker/serger will create a neater, more professional finish, however I have also included instructions for using a regular sewing machine.

This listing is for 4 downloadable PDF files: Instructions, a print-at-home pattern, a copy shop pattern and a projector pattern.

Print the print-at-home pattern on A4/legal/letter sized paper.

Take the copy shop file to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper.

Use the projector file to project the pattern straight onto your fabric.

The measurement charts for all W&W patterns are here.

The pattern is created in layers meaning you can print just the layers (sizes) you need.

To make coordinating ladies’ briefs try the Wonder Undies pattern.

This is an instant download PDF, not a finished item. Due to the digital nature of PDF patterns, no refund can be given if purchased in error.

My little one calls these her comfy womfy pants. They are brilliant and i have no worry if she accidentally shows off her pants and the coverage is perfect. They are basically just the best pants ever.

  2. Kathryn Thorsen (verified owner)

This pattern is absolutely adorable and it sewed up so quickly! My little one had a blast designing them by picking out what they wanted from my fabric scraps.

  3. Melissa Draper

These really are speedy! I sized up and added a terry cloth panel and fabric cover from front to back to make some potty-training pants for the grandson and they worked great! Visual instructions were super helpful to understand the construction.
