This was the first pattern I used when I bought my overlocker. What a revelation! Easy to follow, and such a practical, comfortable garment for little (and not so little) ones. I’ve made about 12 pairs so far, both long and short, in sizes from newborn to age 10. They are universally loved.

My first pattern purchased here – I have made this so many times now in several sizes. My absolute go to for a me made pressie – this has given me so much confidence in my sewing and I think I could do it in my sleep now! Tried and tested!!

  3. Lindy G

The Over It All’s are just so versatile! My ‘go to’ pattern for all my ‘Little’s’.
(Not so keen on it for older children as it has no shaping around the crotch area – but I know lots of Wilders whose older children love them).
I’ve made shorties and full length. I’ve colour blocked, added piping across the chest (in order to fit the pattern on smaller lengths of fabric). I’ve added frills around the leg hems and used the pattern for dress hacks.
Sarah’s patterns are easy to follow and I couldn’t be without this one…

I love making overitalls they are very quick to sew with no hemming required. The style is very practical for play and they look very cute on

These are my favourite pattern, I love printing at home and find it very therapeutic putting them together. My grandchildren love my little overitalls and they are so comfy for them to wear. I love making them and since I started sewing w&w I have found my happy place in my sewing room

  6. Fiona Evans

Totally agree with all the reviews above! This was one of my first forays into stretch fabrics and practicing with my overlocker and since then I have made at least 10 pairs – the finished garment looks so cute and makes a beautiful present – the instructions are really clear and easy to follow. Also as with all the waves and wild patterns I have tried – there are multiple ways of switching it up with the various pattern options. HIGHLY recommend 👍🏼

This was the first thing I made with stretch fabric and I’m now onto my third pair. Made as a present for a friend and did a trial run for my little girl. They look so cute on and were easy to make (even for a beginner like me).
    Would highly recommend.

I love this pattern. The instructions are so easy to understand and the finished overitalls are perfect.

Such a sweet simple project! My littlest little lived in them all year round!

I love this pattern, it is so quick and easy to make. The instructions as always are easy to follow and the finished overalls are perfect for play. I find them a bit snug over a cloth nappy, but easy to fix with a bit of grading. I like to use hemming tape to hold down the lining of the semi-lined version so that it doesn’t roll.

I have no faults for this pattern, it’s such am easy make and now my children’s favorite. It’s the first thing they go for.
Very easy instructions with visuals that make it clear what you need to do. I made it just using an overlocker/serger.
So many options to choose from to suit your sewing ability and style preference.

I’ve made these jersey dungarees for my two children age 3 and 5. I don’t have an overlocker but that was no problem – I used the zigzag and faux overlock stitch on my regular machine. The instructions are clear with helpful photos and the end product is cute and comfy.

I made these overalls for my daughters 2nd birthday. I love that there’s a matching dolls pattern. She was so excited when she realised she could twin with her dollies.

The instructions were great and it was a joy to sew. She loves wearing it because it’s so comfortable and non restrictive.

One of the first patterns I made – such a quick and simple sew. There’s a YouTube hack for overlocker the lining so you don’t have to stitch in the ditch which I have found really useful too.

As I’ve been sewing most of my now toddler’s clothes from the very beginning, I obviously needed a pattern for classic play pants and went for the over it alls. As with all Waves and Wild patterns, they come with clear and easy to follow instructions and lots of options to choose from! I’ve sewn a simple, short version and a long version with a snap crotch so far, but I’m sure there’ll be more with more details for my now toddler. Such a versatile pattern!

My first ever pattern from Made by Jack’s Mum before Waves and Wild began and it’s one I’ve used over and over again in all sizes.
It’s a favourite for new baby presents and the pattern is so easy to follow.

My first pattern purchased and a winter fav!
Love the reversible option having 2 outfits in 1. Also made lots of the short rompers for summer. Love the many options x
