An overlocker/serger can be used for many steps but importantly a sewing machine is all you need for all options.

The pocket looks tricky but such great instructions means it’s easy to follow and do and makes for such a professional looking finish. My son and daughter have a bunch of these, they remind me of snowboard pants with how they fit, fitted at the top but kind of baggy, super super cool looking
