Description
The Beep Beep Raglan is a relaxed fit sweatshirt with added fun. It has a colour blocked strip down each side, plus an optional road appliqué and deep side pockets(perfect for hiding toy cars in!). Alternatively, you can omit the appliqué and have a comfortable sweatshirt with fabulous pockets suitable for carrying sweets, stones, pocket money or phones!
The Beep Beep Ragland Sweatshirt goes from prem./small newborn up to Age 12. Medium weight knit fabrics such as french terry are perfect for this pattern.
An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish but importantly a sewing machine is all you need for all options.

Brilliant pattern, especially for using up smaller bits of fabrics. It’s a quick sew and my boy loves the little pockets on the side.

Have made 3 of these for my grandsons, they are quick to sew and look great when done. You do have to keep an eye on the fabric when attaching the side strip to the main body and sleeves (as the instructions advise) to make sure that it is all sewn in where the sleeve and body meet, but, that aside, it is a really straightforward sew.

Another great pattern, the pockets are a hit with the grandchildren. I haven’t used the applique road but the sweatshirts look great without and the colour blocking adds to the look.

I don’t know why this took me so long to buy and make but it is actually my favourite long sleeve pattern for my tamariki. I’ve made this out of cotton lycra, french terry, and merino. The end results are always fantastic and my tamariki love having “secret pockets” too!
